The Sustainable Angle

About us

The Sustainable Angle is a not for profit organisation which initiates and supports projects which contribute to minimizing the environmental impact of industry and society.  Our project The Future Fabrics Expo focuses on the fashion industry and how  its environmental impact can be lowered through innovation in the textile industry, and novel ideas to transform the fashion system and design practice.
We also assist with sustainable fabric sourcing and consulting, and have supported projects including the Greenhorns movie about the Young Farmer Movement in America.

Future Fabrics Expo 2013

The second Future Fabrics Expo was hosted by The London College of Fashion in November 2012 with support from the Centre for Sustainable Fashion, and again showcased high quality lower environmental impact fashion fabrics.

We are delighted to announce that the next Future Fabrics Expo will take place as part of a new sustainable commercial fair, FUTURE FABRICS FAIR, primarily focussed on sustainable materials in Copenhagen, Denmark on 8th-10th September 2013

Our partner FUTURE FABRICS FAIR aims to be the leading commercial sustainable fabrics fair in Europe showcasing the best within sustainable textiles, leather, innovative materials, trimmings and supplies for the fashion and furniture industries.

The 5000m2 fair will take place at the Bella Center Hall, Denmark's largest exhibition centre (10mins from Copenhagen airport). FUTURE FABRICS FAIR in Copenhagen will provide a platform for sales, knowledge and network and will thus bring together a variety of stakeholders from many different industries.
