FUTURE FABRICS EXPO 9½ – PLANS FOR 2021
As we all grapple with the continued uncertainty the New Year has greeted us with, and news updates on both vaccine programmes and the emergence of COVID variants continue to radically reshape our personal and professional business realities, we are reframing our plans for 2021. We remain focused on providing the largest dedicated showcase for responsible and sustainable materials solutions. Our mission is to provide the fashion industry with the tools for change to become a positive sector, reducing drastically its GHG emissions by 2030 and meet the Paris climate agreement targets! Given the ongoing challenges with scheduling trade fairs, and larger events this year in all areas of business, we are delighted to announce our roadmap of linked events for 2021:

in our showroom and on our digital platform,
culminating in the 10th Anniversary Future Fabrics Expo later in the year.
FUTURE FABRICS EXPO – MILESTONES FOR 2021
- Future Fabrics VIRTUAL Expo relaunch in March 2021: visitors will be able to experience even more materials from our exhibitors of the Future Fabrics Expo online with more educational information and content with enhanced sourcing experience.
- FUTURE FABRICS EXPO 9½, June 2021, London: building upon our previous, most successful, and largest 9th Expo in January 2020. We will host Open Days in our new London showroom for 9½ days. This will be a physical showcase tailored to COVID19 restrictions. Aimed at supporting fashion professionals wanting to source in person more responsibly and sustainably produced textiles and materials, contextualized with educational and informational display content (potential remaining COVID19 restrictions will determine the number of visitors allowed at this time).
- This exceptional FUTURE FABRICS EXPO 9½, June 2021, London edition will also feature online conversations, workshops and masterclasses with our partners, experts and thought leaders, and where COVID19 restrictions allow some of these can also be accommodated in our showroom. - We are excited to have these linked events throughout 2021 culminate in an anniversary 10th FUTURE FABRICS EXPO, date TBC, and as soon as COVID-19 uncertainties are eased for international travel. The 10th FUTURE FABRICS EXPO will be modelled on our successful 9th Expo held in January 2020 but will be held in a new venue well suited for managed people flows. It will also feature a stronger digital dimension than ever before, seamlessly connecting sourcing materials physically to our online platform.
